My Idea for my film poster is a horror/ mystery type of theme. My background will be a graveyard scene. This will eventually be altered in Photoshop to give the desired atmosphere to fit the theme. I will not be using an actual film title, but a fictional one. As it is coming up on the ancient Celtic feast of Samhain (Halloween) my poster will have that kind of feel. The fictional name for my film is The Druid’s Curse, which in actual fact is a book. I will be borrowing a set of Druid’s robes from my friend, who is a Ban Druidh or Celtic Priest, this should give my model an authentic look. I will also attempt to shoot my subject with a colour cast on his face to add eeriness & mystery. I have done a mock up of the background already with text.

This is my final image for my self portraiture unit. I shot the image in an urban setting, using a rock theme with a guitar & rock paraphenalia as props. I feel that although a strong image it could be improved by recomposing the shot to make it look as if I am not turning my back on my musical life, also having me in the left side of frame means that the viewer is left in a kind of limbo as to where I, the subject is looking. I will also use less post production.

These are 2 shots that I have chosen for my test shots these images reflect my love of Punk & Heavy metal music & the urban area I grew up in. I have given these images a sort of music press feel giving the shots a touch of mood.
This image appeals to me because of the use of the negative effect & the breaking up of the image into multiple parts which could portray the complexities of the human psyche. It is ia montage of abstracts rearranged in a random order. The image was shot close up, cropping in on the subject’s face, it was further enhanced aesthetically by using the invert filter in Photoshop.
